Coming Attraction: Holiday Train Show at The New York Botanical Garden

Let the holidays begin! This Saturday, 23 November 2019, the holiday train show at The New York Botanical Garden will open to the public.
This year, as the palm dome of the historic Enid A. Haupt Conservatory undergoes restoration, the holiday train show will be in an immersive indoor winter wonderland adjacent to the Conservatory.
The 28th annual holiday train show presents more than 175 New York landmarks and architectural treasures, including some new replicas. Each is created using natural materials such as birch bark, acorns, leaves and seeds and cinnamon sticks. All have been artistically crafted by founding visionary Paul Busse's team at Applied Imagination.

Enchanting model trains zip through the displays,
overhead on bridges as well as at ground level.
Open to the public November 23, 2019 through Janury 26, 2020, this year's exhibition features new replicas of Central Park's Belvedere Castle, the Dairy, the Old Bandstand, the Angel of the Waters sculpture, and two graceful pedestrian bridges. There is also an all-new introductory video highlighting interviews with Applied Imagination staff and footage from their workshop in Alexandria, Kentucky.
A delightful treat for the whole family, the exhibition is visitor friendly. There is
a wide, level walkway that loops around the central display area with more to see
and enjoy along both walls, with close up views of trains, building and landscapes.
Daytime All-Garden Pass access to the Holiday Train Show is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended as tickets do sell out.
Certain dates and times: weekends, Mondays, and holiday week pricing is higher.
